FAQs
Corporate Events
-
We create tastings for team-building events, client entertainment, networking receptions, off-sites, holiday parties and company celebrations. Experiences can be educational, competitive or simply sociable — depending on what you want the room to do.
-
Our standard corporate tastings are designed for [minimum–maximum] guests. We can also accommodate larger groups with additional hosts, tasting stations or a more informal reception-style format.
-
Most events run for 90 minutes to two hours, although we can create a shorter tasting for a reception or build a longer experience around dinner. We’ll recommend the best format for your schedule and group.
-
Interactive experiences such as the Blind Tasting Challenge and Price Experiment work particularly well. They give guests something immediate to discuss, encourage friendly disagreement and make approaching someone new considerably less awkward.
-
Absolutely. We can tailor the wines, theme, level of difficulty and presentation style to your company, occasion or audience. We can also incorporate a destination, menu, industry theme or company milestone — within reason; we draw the line at printing the CEO’s face on a bottle.
-
[The wine is included in every quote / We can provide the wine or work with your preferred purchasing arrangement.] Glassware, tasting materials and other equipment [are included / can be supplied for an additional charge]. Your proposal will specify exactly what we’re bringing.

-
Not at all. Our tastings are designed to engage complete beginners without patronizing experienced wine drinkers. There are no lectures, no intimidating jargon and no risk of being cold-called about soil types.

Private Tastings
-
Most tastings run for approximately 90 minutes to two hours. We keep things moving, but never so quickly that you can’t finish the wine—or the argument it started.
-
Private tastings work especially well for groups of 4 to 12 people. For larger gatherings, get in touch and we’ll suggest a format that keeps everyone involved.
